Racing season in the Western hemisphere has begun.
Once again, I traveled to the Rolex 24 in Daytona, FL for the start of the 2016 WeatherTech Sports Car Championship. It also marked the debut of the renovated stadium section of Daytona International Speedway – which I’m proud to say is a huge improvement.
Add in some close racing from start to finish (the closest finish in GTLM, in fact – 0.034 seconds) and it’s an event I’d recommend any enthusiast make the pilgrimage to, especially now.
